Presidents Report,
The
President, Mrs Heather Jones gave a Verbal Report, and touched on the
passing of one of our Stalwarts, Joe Watson.
It was noted that our
Championship Show in October had an entry of 22 Beagles, whilst our Open
Show in May had an entry of 28 beagles.
Both shows were proudly sponsored by Bush’s Pet Foods and they
had been very generous..
Thanks were also expressed to Denis Smith for his continuing work on the
Web Page, putting in photographs of events
and details of upcoming events.
There has been little Fund Raising this year.
However Thanks must go to
Erika Wallington who has kept the Flag flying in times of stress for
the Watson Clan.
Erika has attended the functions and along with
Lorraine Della has organised
some upcoming outings for Club members.
We have a Walk at
Presidents Report
accepted with acclaim.
Treasurers Report
was circulated showing that we had a Balance
of $1142.53 in our Cheque
account with BankWest and the Home Building Society Investment account
Balance was $5476.53
However the Club would have to withdraw from the Home
Building Investment account as Funds were needed for Air fares for our
upcoming Championship Show in October, as there had been little or no
Fund raising this year.
It was noted that we had some very generous Sponsors in our
Patrons with Donations of $100.00 coming from some, this was greatly
appreciated. The WA
Beagle Club is also running a Building and Amenities Show on 31st
August. There
were also good stocks of items for sale,
car stickers, badges and pens
